Little Austin

The brief here was to add energy and excitement to the existing spaces while keeping the current kitchen units. The building work was minimised to fitting glass panels allowing a view of the wine room. We refreshed this family kitchen-dining space by embracing bold colours and rich textures. Scallop shaped tiles, reaching to the ceiling allowed for the wall to become a focal point, like a piece of art, infusing the room with personality, charm and connecting to the outdoor space. Each area was carefully updated, focusing on energising atmosphere. Statement light fixtures were added throughout the house. We had some fun with prints in the downstairs cloakroom and TV room. The rest of the walls were kept neutral, while the furniture and decor were enhanced with rich, dynamic hues, giving each room a unique identity. The overall design achieved a balance between playful vibrancy and cohesive style, perfectly suited to the client’s love for bold aesthetics.
